Winning by the margin of 1 ? lengths, the two-year-old set Good Girl Julie into the second slot.
The winner had drawn the third stall to race from and it was the debut success of the season for her.
The fawn bitch has been allotted the second trap for tonight?s race. Breaking from near the rails will give her the chance to set into an early pace, and then set the precedent for the rest of the lot. Tonight is the first time that she will race from this trap, if it proves lucky for her or not will unfold soon.
Another bright prospective for the race is the two-year-old black bitch, Pennys Palma.
Her first try at the Grade A3 level culminated into a second position.
The Powderly trained settled second in the 525 yards race on 31st August, 2012. The race was won by, Senor Loki, in 29.04 seconds.
She missed the chance to stamp her greatness by the margin of good seven lengths, and the race turned out to be the first occasion that her profile saw an entry other than the first position.
She will race in an orange jacket tonight due to the fifth box that she has drawn. For her too it will be the first time, and her managing ability will give the connections a true picture of her potential.
